Giving....

You know someone. You know someone who's experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can't afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family's spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to give them the chance to experience a complimentary custom photography with session, prints and CD. Now it's in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.

The rules:

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does not qualify as sincere financial need.)

* The nominee must reside in greater Denver Metro Area. Tell me who you know, what they're experiencing, and why they are so special. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.

* E-mail me the full story: christy@twinklephotography.com

The gift recipient will be contacted Christmas eve and will remain anonymous

Open your heart to someone this holiday season -- and thanks for giving me the opportunity to open mine.

Know someone in a different state who needs this too? visit www.givingisawesome.com for participating photographers across the US and abroad!

A special thanks to Kristen Kalp of  www.essentialimagery.com for her inspiration, words and organization.

Cheers!

Christy

Fields of Fun....

Sometimes the best locations are right in front of you. We had complicated plans to go to a fancy park when this is gorgeous location was right in the back yard! Fall foliage of a different kind. Although a bit blustery, we couldn't be happier with the results. I am again thrilled that my friends have such cute kids. I got to spend the weekend with my 2 best friends and take pictures. (can't beat that :) We did a bunch of catching up and even ate an entire meal while sitting down with no interruptions - not quite sure we knew what to do with ourselves. Thanks for the outstanding help from www.kscullyphotography.com!

Baby Love.....

Oh my goodness what a cutie! How can these parents not swoon everday? At 4 months she will off to the races in no time. A little laughing, a little crying and a whole lot of fun.

Rain, Rain Go Away....

So at the start of this session it was rain rain rain. We thought about maybe picking another day. And I am oh so glad we didn't! The rain gave way to the softest light ever. I would photograph in this light all day long if I could. We ran around like crazy people trying to catch the light, and it was so worth it. The whole gang was such great sports. Everyone was so calm and tons of fun. Thanks guys....it gives me hope we might make it through multiples :)

Sisters and Fun...

So I am finally catching up on my blogging....Here are a few from the Breckenridge Sessions. We had two sets of sisters and a bunch of fun. It was just a bunch of girls and plenty to keep us busy. The falls colors were grand and the same can be said for the company. I hope to see the group again soon.

Out for Stroll....

I again had the pleasure of documenting these little gals. (you know one of my favorite things is to see how kiddos I have previously photographed have grown) These gals are just as cute as they were last summer if not more, because they are now talking up a storm. We had a awesome Autumn afternoon to go out for a stroll. Hope you like them!

Those Olive Green Eyes.....

Frank Sinatra may have claim to the blue eyes, but he's got nothin' on this little guy. Watch out ladies... his eyes will get to ya every time. Have you ever seen such a cool color? The whole family was there even Mac the dog. Thanks for a fun afternoon in the mountains.

Tinkerbell and Her Lost Boys.....

Hope everyone had a great Happy Halloween. We had the whole gang from Neverland - Tinkerbell, the Lost Boys, Tigerlily, Captain Hook and Peter Pan. Of course the Lost Boys can also double as Little Stinkers! A good time was had by all indeed.

Three's a Charm...

It is great to have good friends with cute kids. They make the best models! I love that I live really close to one of my college roommates. She is a dear friend. Like the kind of friend that if you were in a coma for months, would sneak into your hospital room in the middle of the night and pluck those old lady chin hairs for you. Or because she has a naturally raspy voice, call your professor and say you wouldn't be there to take your test due to your horrible sore throat. And....she will never tell me that I drink too much Diet Coke that will rot my teeth and stomach. I am a lucky gal to have her around.

The sun was just perfect!

A little King Fu Panda

Fun in the Fall....

This is was my first session in the mountains to catch some of Colorado's stunning yellow Aspen trees. You may recognize a few of these kiddos from my website. I am honored to document this family for a second time and see how the kids have grown. Everyone kiddo looks out for another in the sweetest way. I don't know how large families do it, but being around these guys makes it look like a breeze.

Boys..Boys...Boys

I guess this was my last summer session and we can officially welcome Fall. Bring on cozy sweaters, football games and pumpkin spice lattes. What a fun way to say au voir. These little ones were a blast. Brothers till the end and best of friends! We ran around the park, enjoyed the perfect evening and even scouted for bugs. Thanks for such a fun night.

I love this one....you can just see Autumn on the way.

My favorite........ just a perfect shot of brothers and friends...
This one makes me laugh..don't mess with these guys..don't they kind of look like little Sopranos? hee hee
